As we look to the future of customer marketing, there are several emerging trends and technologies that are shaping the way we connect with our customers and build lasting relationships. One trend that is the rise is conversational marketing.
I recently spoke to my friend Justin Keller, VP of Revenue Marketing at Drift (no, this is not sponsored). I was picking his brain on how to increase the customer experience before I hit em with an upsell play. He showed me what can be done with Drift and I just thought it was the coolest thing and definitely THE FUTURE.
Think about it…With more customers preferring to communicate via messaging apps and chatbots, it just makes sense to engage with customers in a more natural and seamless way.
Here are a few ways you can use Chatbots:
💠 Customers can be greeted uniquely as a customer by a bot and offer up helpful resources; or they can create phenomenal cross-sell opportunities - all because you’re starting the right conversation with the right person.
💠 You can use a chatbot to personalize the user experience for target accounts. For example, the chatbot can welcome a customer by name, display personalized content based on their interests, and suggest relevant products or services.
💠 You can offer up a gift that can be sent through platforms like Sendoso, in exchange for booking a meeting or just a surprise and delight opportunity.
💠 You can use a chatbot to provide users who click on the CTA in your landing page with additional information. The chatbot can answer questions they have, provide additional content related to the campaign, and capture contact information then alert the account manager! Brilliant!
💠 In addition, customers can automatically be routed to their CSM or account manager for a live chat whenever they visit your website.
