Wanted to share a fun program. Now I know a Hack-a-thon is not going to work for everyone BUT I urge you to let your imagination run a muck here. Think about what your customers want or need to get out of your platform for them to hit their company goals.
This is a simple Zoom event with breakout rooms. Create a Landing Page that has the different room names/use case and have them select their room during the registration process.

Virtual Direct Mail Send-a-thon
Event Overview:
Send-a-thon is an exciting virtual hack-a-thon event organized by Sendoso, bringing together our valued customers to showcase their creativity and expertise in developing compelling direct mail campaigns. This event provides a unique opportunity for participants to demonstrate their innovative thinking and strategic approach to leveraging direct mail as a powerful marketing tool.
Objective:
The primary objective of Send-a-thon is to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing among Sendoso customers while exploring the potential of direct mail campaigns. Participants will work together to create the best direct mail campaign for a specific use case, showcasing their skills in crafting impactful and personalized experiences for their target audience.
Participation Guidelines:
Eligibility: Send-a-thon is open to all active Sendoso customers who have firsthand experience with our platform and are eager to explore the possibilities of direct mail campaigns.
Team Formation: Participants can form teams of [team size] members. Individuals without a team will be assigned to a group during the event.
How: Participants will be provided with a specific use case or business objective at the beginning of the event. The use case will outline a scenario or challenge where a direct mail campaign can make a significant impact.
Campaign Creation: Teams will collaborate virtually to develop their direct mail campaign strategy, including creative concepts, messaging, target audience selection, and execution plan.
Sendoso Platform: Participants will be encouraged to leverage the Sendoso platform and its various features to create their campaigns. Access to the platform and support resources will be provided throughout the event.
Presentation: Each team will have a designated time to present their direct mail campaign to a panel of judges. Presentations should include campaign details, rationale, and expected outcomes.

Judging and Awards:
A panel of expert judges, including Sendoso representatives and participants, will evaluate the direct mail campaigns based on criteria such as creativity, strategic thinking, personalization, and potential impact. The winning team will be determined based on the judges' assessment.
Prizes and Recognition:
The winning team of Send-a-thon will receive [Prize Details], which may include recognition as the top direct mail campaign creators, exclusive access to Sendoso resources or features, and other exciting rewards. All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
Event Promotion and Communication:
Send-a-thon will be promoted through various channels, including email invitations, Email signatures, In app messaging, social media announcements, and our customer community. Regular updates and reminders will be shared with participants to ensure they are informed about event logistics and timelines.

Metrics:
Participation Rate: Measure the number of Sendoso customers who registered and actively participated in the Send-a-thon event. This metric indicates the level of engagement and interest in the hack-a-thon.
Campaign Submissions: Count the number of direct mail campaigns submitted by the participating teams. This metric indicates the level of effort and creativity put into developing campaigns.
Presentation Quality: Evaluate the quality of the teams' presentations based on predefined criteria. This metric assesses the effectiveness of their communication and ability to articulate their campaign strategy.
Participant Satisfaction: Conduct a post-event survey or feedback collection to gauge participants' satisfaction with the Send-a-thon experience. This metric helps assess the overall event organization, engagement, and value delivered to the participants.
Post-Event Engagement: Monitor the post-event engagement of participants, such as their continued involvement in the Sendoso customer community, utilization of the Sendoso platform, or implementation of the campaign ideas generated during the send-a-thon. This metric indicates the long-term impact and adoption of the event.
Remember to define specific targets or benchmarks for each metric to track progress and evaluate the success of the Send-a-thon program.
